Summary

The ability to suggest alt text on posts. On servers that implement this it will allow the user to accept or deny the alt text. Multiple alt texts can be submitted and can be voted on. If the user doesnt accept any of the alt text the user suggested alt text will still be around for anyone who wants to read it. Also on boosting a post you can choose to prioritize your alt text. This feature would kill 2 birds with 1 stone
